No, this is a known issue when upgrading to fox1.5. 1.5 drops the "allow websites to install extensions" options in the dialog, and retains your old settings. So if you had 'em disabled before, now they're disabled without a dialog to fix it.
Type about
:config in the address bar, and scroll down to xpinstall.enabled and toggle it from false to true.
