We do tend to have a lot of fun, as a department (at least, at the graduate level). I majored in English as an undergrad (switched from pre-med, ha!--one of the best things I ever did), though, and we also managed to have some of the most fun on campus.
If my undergrad had offered anthropology, I definitely would have taken that (or international relations).
