I am very skeptical of their existance. How much food does an 800 lb mammal need survive? How much range would each animal need if they had to find berries and 'Fruit'? I know the forests of the Northwest are enormous, but how would these animals interbreed and still find sustenance? That and the fact no one has ever gotten a picture of one leads me to believe they are a fabrication of peoples imagination. The article didn't even mention the '67 Roger Patterson film was revealed as a hoax.
