Hiya everyone.

This issue has been around for quite some time, and I just not have found a place (forum) where I could ask about a possible solution.

Basically, when I go to Start -> Search -> For Files or Folders, I set the search area to my Hard Disk, and then enter a search term.

I click "Search Now" and nothing happens. It isn't searching.. and the "search" is over nearly instantaneously.

Does anyone know why it isn't searching my hard drive, and if there is a way to resolve this issue?

I use SleuthHound to find text documents, but it would be nice if I could search for files as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am 100% clueless as to what is wrong, and how it can be resolved.

I am using Windows ME. If you need more system info, just let me know.
