Working on my vacation.....

Posted 10-31-2009 at 09:44 PM by Moyaboy

I waited until my birthday to take my vacation. While all of my fellow employees had recieved their vacations, I worked through them. Extra hours and different shifts! However when I go on vacation I'm called into work! What I can't believe is that work with people who do just the minimum needed to get by. this frustrates me. What to do?

Going to Hospital.

Posted 10-31-2009 at 08:32 AM by Cynthetiq (Cynthetiq's Ramblings)

A friend was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning. He awoke in the middle of the night coughing up blood. Turns out he has pneumonia. It was supposed to just be overnight, but for some reason, he's going to be kept for at least a couple days.

He works part time and has no private insurance. Who's paying for the hospital stay? The state, Medicaid. Seems like there's a public option that already exists.

You spin on a blue plane and the yellow lights you send from your hands bend into ribbons across the fragile the balance & sound is bits of paper falling.
