Back in March, when I once again took up exercise seriously, I measured at 18% body fat, which is just below the "unhealthy" range. A month ago, I measured up to 16.9%, which tells me I'm making progress. I lost about 2 lbs. of fat and gained 2 lbs. of muscle in 2 months.
I don't know when I'll have another weigh-in, but it might be at the end of June. It's been three months since starting and the biggest thing I notice now is that my pants are feeling too loose. I wasn't very big to begin with, but it's nice to know I'm getting trim around my trunk again. My legs feel more solid, and they're beginning to shape up.
Effectively, I've tightened a notch on my belt once for every month I've been at this...I'm up three notches. It's odd realizing I need to do this or my pants will fall down.
Otherwise, I'm sleeping better, and my mood and energy is up. I think I might be getting to that place where I hit my stride. That's a great feeling....
