This is such an interesting series. It looks like it was a fun production to make and participate.



I really am missing it right about now. Good thing we're going back in several weeks.

A friend was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning. He awoke in the middle of the night coughing up blood. Turns out he has pneumonia. It was supposed to just be overnight, but for some reason, he's going to be kept for at least a couple days.

He works part time and has no private insurance. Who's paying for the hospital stay? The state, Medicaid. Seems like there's a public option that already exists.

So there was a big meeting with the steering committee. It's like the most unwieldy committee ever. I think there are like 20 people on it. It's more like a cluster fuck more than anything. I mean how can that be a steering committee?

Anyways, just the SIMPLEST part of the logic was the issue that bubbled up to the top. Not the one that I've mentioned in my last blog entry. This is an important thing because well, it's like 20 people all wondering why the sky is falling running around like their heads are also cut off.

More about the steering committee. People who's input was required in the beginning finally showed up. Yes FINALLY, and were like broadsided with why they didn't have any input or assistance to why this is now a boondoggle.

Well, let's take a little step back. See when someone says, "I need your input." for about 3 months worth of meetings, and you decide to just blow them off, well you'll look like a moron once a...
