Starting the weekend, I went to Baltimore for crabs. It did not pan out the way it was planned, but we still wound up with a good meal of crabs. Got home very early Saturday morning, and that kind of fubarred the rest of my weekend sleeping schedule.

I've spent the past two weekends working on some of my websites.

Some of them, I've not touched in over 1 year, and a few are brand new. I really didn't plan on it being these 2 weekends, but being spent from work, it was just what I needed to get some sense of accomplishment.

I also worked on the family tree project. I've got to get more into that. I really have some ambitious plans that I really would like to see happen. It won't take much effort, but it will take more than the zero I've been putting in.

I've got a busy week ahead of me. Double and triple booked in some cases. We'll see what happens.

I suspected it the first day that I was testing the software. I have been trying to figure out how to fix it and well, it's not my job, but I still am engaged in trying to figure it out because well, that is my job.

Basically, the core of what we want this application is too challenging. It's not as simple as gather up, count, and then report back. Gather up, count, subtract from the first group, and then report back as a solution for figuring out if someone has the rights to publish a book in a certain format, in a certain language, in a certain territory, in a certain distribution channel.

so strange to have gotten a chat message from the girl that broke my heart years ago and basically sent me into a tailspin of drugs and decadence.

I figured I'd keep this convo here, I don't know why it's not really much of anything. I think that's why it is important. It's not anything that I imagined the conversations to be when I drank over them years ago. It isn't the same dear in headlights I thought I would be when I imagined interacting with her again.

Anyways, it's a boring conversation.
