Still majorly fucked in the head today. At least I'm no longer suicidal, although I do have Suicidal Tendencies (Send Me Your Money, Get Whacked) Of, course not too many peopoe will understand that reference. They're all too young and too busy listening to all the PaRappa The Rapper shiat. Some of it is pretty good, but most of it is crap.

So, I've been trying to work myself out of this hole with some good old fashioned Heavy Metal rock-n-roll. You know, the good stuff. So far though, it's been unsuccessful. Maybe I'm finally hitting my middle age crazy phase (for real this time) Nothing is bringing me pleasure. I killed off my Facebook account. Other than family, and the odd friend of a friend here and there, I had no friends at all. I friended a high school buddy of mine but he never returned the favor. I guess I was/am an asshole D. Yes, I'm fucked in the head again, as usual. Fall has always been a bad time for me and with what happened to me on Friday, it sent me into a death spiral over the weekend. I'm okay now, for the most part. Time will heal the hurt I'm sure.

Fool me twice, shame on me. Says the only person in his department NOT invited out to lunch to celebrate someone's 20th anniversary with the company.

Guess I've been busy lately. Took our daughter for a college visit last weekend. The place was nice but she's still set on her first choice. She's already been accepted so I'm not sure why we went. Anyway, it was a nice drive.

So, how was everyone's Halloween? We had over 100 kids trick or treat at our house. I think there was one large group of 9 high school freshmen (maybe), otherwise it was all small kids. No hot moms though, sigh.

I've been down lately but not due to depression. I've been really tired lately. I don't know if I'm fighting off a cold or what. TW is sick. She has a nagging, hacking, dry cough. She's absolutely miserable. No flu though, just that damned cough.

Other than that, it's been work, work, work. I'm grateful to still have a job. They really like me here and the feeling is mutual. Now, if I could just do something about the commute.

I hope each of you has a fun and safe Halloween. Me? I'll be passing out candy and hoping against hope that some mom (other than my sexy wife) will TREAT me to a nice view of her treats! One can always hope, right? If not, I'll just have TW model some costumes for me after our daughter heads off to bed. Gotta make sure the camera battery is charged.
