cuddles are nice but they dont fix pulled muscles. ice and as grumpy said..anti inflammatories!

this morning i woke up and it feel much better than last night. i can walk, albeit with an obvious limp. didnt have a great night sleep, which is essential for the recovery process, but then again, i rarely get a good night sleep anyways.

ive resigned myself to taking it easy over the next 2 days. i feel like if i take 2 or 3 days off im 'going backwards' and its definately NOT the way i want to go. i have a date with destiny and i plan to make it. if anything i want to prove it to myself, if for no other reason.

i still havent been to the physio yet. not sure if i will go now. RICE ( Rest Ice Compression Elevation) is the order of the day along with massage once any inflammation goes away.

looking forward to more icepacks tonight. anyone know how i can ice my thigh at work while im wearing business pants?

From what I've been told, ice should only be applied 15-20 minutes at a time. Does your work day allow for a few breaks to elevate and apply an icepack?

Take care that the massages don't lead to anything too strenuous. Female superior is the position of choice for the time being!

yes im well aware of the time factor for icing. usually 20 on , 20 off. i was once upon a time adamant that i was going to become a physiotherapist.

just about to go get myself an icepack from the freezer. i wont massage for at least a week when everything has settled down.

female superior is always the position of choice

    thanks for the tips bud!
