Just ran across this song in a compilation of old jazz music and I swooned a little. I love that lazy cornet sound.
My restored version sounds a lot clearer. It would be neato to have an old Victrola like this.

I actually squealed when they brought out for me to see. He looks so adorable. And I know he's got to feel so much better. We took him to the dog park afterwards to celebrate. Something I couldn't have done before the haircut without risking him having heat stroke.

This is the only place I could catch him sitting still...in the dirt right after a bath, lol.

Not for me, for Simba. I am taking him to the dog groomer this morning and paying a hefty penny to have his hair cut short. It's too fucking hot, man. It's insane this year. I have to wait until it's almost dark for his evening walk because he gets overheated earlier. So I'm hoping this will make him more comfortable. For some reason I am inordinately excited about it. I think he's going to feel a lot better.
