I am a panicker. Actually, a pre-panicker.
Since January, our mortgage has been in negotiation and we still don't know what's going on despite asking about every week or so. Currently, it's an unmanageable $2109 a month, up $300 from last year. With credit card payments of $600, plus all the other stuff-phones, utilities, food-we live much like the government works; on a deficit recycling through whatever's available, which basically amounts to those credit cards I keep paying on.
Pay'em $200, charge $150, rinse and repeat.
On top of the normal "can't do this much longer" bills, I owe a friend a hefty chunk, have to think about how to pay for college for two kids, get them their driver's licenses and a (good heavens!) a car at some point....
I've been thinking about doing what I swore-literally swore-I would not do-go back to Kohl's for a second job. But then I think if that would truly be worth the aggravation to work a couple of nights a week,...
