Well, moving in the right direction.

I've graduated the academy, but still have 7 more weeks of Spanish to go. I manage to come home (400 miles one way) at least every other week, and that helps, but it is still not like being home. I see the mountains, breath the fresh air, and feel the cool breeze, and I miss it. I thank God that it's only 7 more weeks, and that this is the are in which I will be working.

The money is much better. Wife finally got her disability going. Things (her dad) got paid off, and we can breath a little better now. I'm making OK money, and that will only get better once I'm in the field. In fact, I get a pay grade increase just a month after I'm done with academy. ($500 more/month)

The wife and I are doing well. Being apart has helped us come together as well. She has had time to work on her sexuality without me breathing down her neck, and I've focused on how much I miss being near her. Between the two things,...
