Not for me, for Simba. I am taking him to the dog groomer this morning and paying a hefty penny to have his hair cut short. It's too fucking hot, man. It's insane this year. I have to wait until it's almost dark for his evening walk because he gets overheated earlier. So I'm hoping this will make him more comfortable. For some reason I am inordinately excited about it. I think he's going to feel a lot better.

I'm moving to Naples, FL to live with a man who has dumped me twice, but has now gone to extraordinary lengths to create a home for us down there including selling his condo (at a loss) to rent a much larger (and much nicer) townhouse for us all. And rejecting the approbation of his family for living in sin with a non-Christian. This happens in two weeks.

I haven't really talked about my relationship here much lately (my facebook friends know a little more, lol). I've started this blog post a couple of times without knowing quite how to write it. So I figured I'd just write the basics and leave it at that. I am not sure where this is leading to. I'm happy, but a part of me says not to dare. I love him, he is my friend, a good companion and a great lover. Yet I'm just...bobbing along in a pleasant sea of neutral expectations. And maybe that's not so bad.

It is amazing how quick this year came and went. My daughter has totally been the highlight of the year. It is impossible to fully explain I think to someone without children, how a child brings about a new level of unconditional love that it is just amazing. How every step, every little new thing s(he) will do just brings so much joy that it is beyond comparison.

That being said I am 33 years old, and I feel stegnant. I want something new some challenge something that I can learn and push myself. I have been toying with joining Hatzallah, which is a volunteer ambulance organization in our community. It is privately funded, no government works entirely on a volunteer basis. Sadly with the shrinking of the Jewish population the volunteers have begun to dwindle in our neighborhood and there is definately a need to be filled here. On the other hand it will take out quality time from the family. It is a conundrum that I have thought over and ping ponged over back and...

Last Sunday, I met with my mother to help her pick out a digital camera for her trip to Mexico this week. I asked her is she tryed to borrow my sister's camera but she refused to lend it out (little brat).

While applying for credit at the store, I figured it would be a good idea to see if the store was hiring, and was directed to see the manager. We chatted for a moment, I mention that I had experiance selling appliances at Sears, to which she was relieved and excited to hear. I guess far too many unexperianced people have been asking for work. She doesn't have any openings, but directs me to the main store in Downtown LA, and gives that store manager's name, Angel. He does the hiring for all the stores in the Los Angeles area, and could set me up at a place that is looking for sales people.

Yesterday, I arrived at the store, and ask for the Angel, and I'm told he may be at a meeting, was directed to customer service. Upon speaking with them, it turns out...
