Hollywood usually doesn’t try to convey real love in their films. The movie characters generally have the hots for one another, and nothing more. They lust for each other. Sometimes film makers go so far as to have the movie’s characters having sexual encounters which is then passing it off as displays of love. The movie audiences are either too naive to understand the difference, or they just don‘t care. It is just entertainment, after all.

When I was a kid of about fourteen I had a crush on Leslie Herrel. I really did not know Leslie personally, nevertheless I thought I was in love with her. She was a pretty girl with nice legs and I would have sworn the feeling was true love. No one tried to talk me out of it, but it wouldn’t have done them any good anyhow. Climbing along the side of a soft sand and stone cliff hundreds of feet above jagged rocks and water I push my body against a surface. The path I followed into a fold in space disappeared once I crossed the initial curvature.

I am looking down for a foothold: between my legs configurations of water and stone a hundred feet below. I am afraid of heights. I do not understand what I am doing here amongst these waves of enervated nausea.

I look to one side then the other looking for a foothold. Behind I see one but there is no space to adjust my position. Return is excluded. Ahead I see a slight protrusion and am moving my foot across the gap toward it.

Still because I still do not want to incur more costs to the corporation, I believe that it was in the best interest of the corporation to just take it down even without the phone call. This I'm trying to accept as "having more class" or "being the better man." I'm not admitting any wrongdoing but I've created a potential question for people to ask, "Why did it get taken down?" This serves me much better than having left it up and express nothing about legal issues. No, I can garner much more sympathy from individual shareholders just by the same kind of tactics they use, keep information hidden.

The simplest thing about what I'm being challenged with at the moment is really stupid. The stupidity does not stop just at the point wherein the chairperson of the election could have just called me to request clarification or kindly ask that I remove the material. Instead it went directly to legal counsel. Not only did it go directly to legal counsel, but it did not stop at the board of directors first to vote on it. Even if the president felt that the matter was grave enough to be sent to legal, he cannot do it unilaterally. This the whole reason to have a board of directors so that the corporation isn't directed by one single individual but by a group.

The letter is in my opinion nothing but legal puffering and bullying at the behest of the Chairperson of the Election Committee. There's a ton of things wrong with this document.
