Another day. My last day. This weekend I am officially unemployed and seeking a low wage, low stress job I can earn a little spending cash while I continue my studies.
I've got my resumes printed out and looking sharp, everything is ready to go. The only thing is that tomorrow I have to go down to my parent's farm to fix the lawn sprinkler system and a sprayer. I've already figured out the electrical issue with the sprayer so that'll be 1/2 hour to bump off and then the rest of the day will be spent troubleshooting the sprinklers. My parents haven't touched them since they got the farm close to 10 years ago. And now it's my duty to repair them.
I don't even know how a sprinkler system works; i'm going to have to do a lot of reading to sort it all out before I touch any of it. I wonder where you could buy parts for a 10 year old sprinkler system. I'm probably going to have to do some plumbing work to put more modern heads on the pipes. Aggravating.
Anyway to adapt to an early morning start time I skipped sleep last night. It's close to nine already, I hope it's not too late to sleep and catch up- I don't want to sleep some 15 hours and wake up back where I started. A quick cold shower and shave then i'm off to bed.

Coincidentally, I had forgone sleep yesterday so I could readjust my waking schedule as well. It worked, but I overslept by four hours due to a cinematic-like dream I am almost about to forget.
Tomorrow has come today. Hopeful that your day has bgun anew and that you found yourself a good night's rest.Posted 08-09-2008 at 07:35 AM by Jetée
