Today's morning meeting had a surprising (and hilarious) finale, consisting of me driving myself to the hospital.
So there I was, sitting with the boss of the company that's taking us over, discussing the futre and other important matters, when all of the sudden I start loosing it - literally, drifting off into the sunset. I'm trying to stay focused, to finnish my sentence, to comprehend what's going on, and my brain's shutting down. What an experience.
In the end I pulled through - 30 minutes of trying to stay concious when you really don't want to is challenging - but the other guy wasn't much better, because he kept spilling his drink all over himself.
We discussed a 30 million euro deal and the lives of some 150 people. Me - halfway unconcious. Him - coke stains all over his white shirt. Somehow I think that the bigger the stake, the more rediculous these meetings become.
I drove myself to the hospital and it turned out I've forgotten...
