I've been in a mood of sorts lately. I'm not sad, not even a little bit; for the most part I'm happy. It's something like nostalgia but a different breed. Sticky and stuck. And it's more then this but my Pavlovian curse is shining through.

I'm feeling romantic. I have sparse episodes of romantic fervor and whimsy. So here's my cure:

Today I listened to the last LP on my "hundred albums to listen to before I die" list. How I went this long without buying it is surprising.

Beach Boys - Pet Sounds.

It is probably one of my favorite pop albums of all time. And it makes me enthralled with the idea of love when I listen to it.

So hi there. Here is a quick update on my life.

I started working for my step father again; making decent money while I'm back home in New Brunswick working construction because God, Jesus, and Moses know I'll be making practically nothing as an actor/playwright/director/busker [and by busker I mean hooker; I've got some great gams]

I've been working out really hard lately trying to get in football shape again. My weight (even though it's just a bit of chub) killed a couple of open calls and called in auditions for me while I was in Toronto. So I've dropped about 15 pounds thus far.

I'm completely single for the first time in Fredericton for the first time in a few years and it feels good to be able to "play the field" and spend lots of time working/hanging out with friends. I've met a lot of great people lately,...
