I'm from a fairly small town and have always been the well-dressed guy. I like owning nice things; clothing, glasses, watches, cars, etc. It isn't so much about what others think about me, it's about feeling comfortable with my own style and my own thing happens to be preppy sweater vests and lacoste square rimmed glasses.

But now I'm a student again so I'm wondering. Are there any great places in general (as in places found everywhere) or in Toronto specifically that I could get cheap but nice clothes.

I'm losing my car for godsakes; I better not lose my ability to sport a cardigan and pea coat.

I just did my last show of Midsummer Night's Dream and I got rave reviews. Today I got a lot of praise from the paper (said I stole the show, etc) and that was great. I was on fire tonight though.

It really feels as though I have permission to go to GB now.

In a week from today I'll be playing Bottom in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

I have rehearsal almost non-stop until then. See you guys in a week.

The title was stolen from a friend of mine but he stole it from me first; so that's that.

This is going to be an on going blog (Hence #1) where I plan to ask and answer pretty general questions to give you guys a heads up on what's going on in my life.

So here's the news:

The Good: I found a place. So all Torontonians who are scouring the streets/crying yourself to sleep every night with thoughts of me living in the gutters of Younge can calm yourselves. Sadly, it's a dorm, and it is definitely not what I had wanted from the start but life works that way. As soon as I faxed my forms in finalizing it this almost euphoric wave of anticipation washed over me. I have been so concerned about this shit that I forgot that I am about to live my dream, with a large amount of money, friends, and theatre. Drinks all around.

The Bad: My car was on fire for a bit today. I can't really figure out what was going on with the smoking wheels...

I can't find a place in toronto. I'm fucked.

Please someone tell me they rent/know someone who does who can hook me up. I'm becoming desperate.

Any roommates?
