A bit of chatting and we decided it might be fun to get a bunch of folks together and do a night of it. Maybe some versus play, and fun all around.

How 'bout it folks? As long as I remain jobless, my schedule is pretty flexible. I'm all for doing some collective zombie stomping. It'll be a bonding experience.

I don't have Left 4 Dead 2. I'm all for sequel zombie slayage, but this thread pertains to the original. Anyone who does have the sequel is welcome to open a parallel thread to organize a night for that.

anyone else use this? Been rocking it for about a month now.

it's pretty awesome, I can toss a bunch of dvd iso's in to a folder and it'll play them right off the network.

The faster your network connection, the higher quality content you can pull on the media server.
For 720/1080 quality videos you might wanna toss those directly on the ps3 HD if you don't have a good computer for transcoding or if your network is too slow to handle it.

Any and all Genres are open, with a slight preference to RTS's and RPG's. (The longer and better replay value on the game, the more likely I am to get it).

Graphically and age wise, I prefer newer and better looking games. My comp can play most any game on the market at high settings (crysis and the like on medium or better)

Really any suggestion is appreciated, I just need some good quality games to buy!

Also, I'd like to get a decent star wars/star trek game. Any genre, suggestions?

Anyone else in? :D

We're all PC types, I'm aware its out on the console but it's all about the mouse/kb for me. Steam unlocks it today for pc users. Guess they needed the extra week to clean up the UI for the PC since it was more console control oriented via tutorials and menus and such, so there was a bit of porting to be done.

anywho, not sure how the matchmaking stuff works yet but I only plan on playing with my friends.

I guess they're taking a reactive stance to piracy and cheating so they don't really have anything in place yet (wtf? i know, weird) so I'm keeping it to a "who I know" basis mostly to police my own gameplay experience, Don't really want it stomped on by some crazy cheaters who marginalize my contribution to the encounters with their overpowered hax.
