Has anyone heard of this new emerging band? I've heard most of their CD, and I'm definitely going to go buy it first thing tomorrow. The video is really great for it too. Smart lyrics and an interesting group makeup are going to take this band far

Yep, heard of them--They released "handlebars" sometime in 2005 or 2006, I think.

For some reason "Handlebars" blew up locally about nine months ago--they must have gotten a new agent or something--but the local stations have already mostly stopped playing it.

Oh wow, my bad. It just got popular around here, stations are just starting to pick it up. I guess we're behind a little haha. Oh well, I'm definitely still getting this CD!

Handlebars is catchy, don't get me wrong, but it will get old, I promise. The rest of their stuff so far, for me, hasn't delivered. And yeah, like I said, they must have gotten a new agent or record label and been fast tracked recently.

Yeah, Handlebars was on the radio since late 2007. The stations rarely play it here anymore. I checked out some of their other stuff, and like twisted said - it didn't live up to Handlebars.
