"I don't know. I didn't go into Burger King."
Bathing in the restaurant sink? Yep. That's a firin'. I was about to turn off the video when they showed that the manager was in the building at the time! I assumed this was some middle of the night giddy prank. Unbelievable. Burger King has always been at the bottom of my list of fast food joints. Okay there was a brief time in the 80's when they had mini-burgers and their onion rings were decent, but that was a long time ago. I find they are usually understaffed and the burgers taste like they've been sitting hunder a heat lamp for a loong time.

Ok...
(A) It never should have hapened. But...it did. (B) Burger King has already taken every possible corrective measure, including sanitizing the sink, replacing kitchen utensiles and firing those that were involved. (some people truly are to stupid for fast food job) Those emplyoees that are left are being retrained in health and sanitation procedures. (C) This Crystal Dodge thinks that more ought to be done. What, exactly, would she like to be done, that hasn't already? Seriously. Dumbasses.

Fast-food jobs suck. They aren't a career, really. Even management must stuck pretty badly. You can't really do much to outright avoid shenanigans such as these when there is low job satisfaction and commitment. Immaturity can easily run rampant in places like these. Imagine the kind of things that go on without the public knowing. Now enjoy your own home-cooked food. ![]()

Read the Mount Washington portion of the entry. I saw the news story on television. It was appalling to see the nasty-ass manager defend her even nastier ass boyfriend. Too bad for him there was a video camera on the wall. When the story came out, I hoped that at least the worker was either guilty of stealing or .... I don't know, a slut. Not that that would make it right. She was actually a very wholesome virgin Mennonite girl.

I saw this on the news the night before last. I think they interviewed the guy last night...but I fell asleep.
Anyway, maybe it's because I don't eat there...or because I work in food service... but this doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I mean, yeah, it was immature and silly... but it seems very tame compared to things I've seen and heard about.
