So I found this on YouTube and I wanted to see what TFPers could/would do with it. (BTW: The video is 41 seconds. And the related video called "The Message" is some of the responses he got from YouTubers.)

EDIT: The viewers are called to make a statement, something they could live by (therefore making a difference). My point: To see what kind of statements (if any) the members of TFP live by.

Thank you for going first in that sentiment. I echo.

What was the original intent and/or premise for this?

I think it's this generation's expression of peace, love and unity.

This one says it a little better:

I'm sorry. I thought the video was pretty clear. The viewers were called to just make a statement - something they could live by (therefore making a difference). I was just wondering what kind of statements would pop up here. . . .

Thanks for the clarification. I saw what his hand had written on it, but I will be honest it was the mask he was wearing that truly drew my attention. That happens to be one of my favorite characters which is why his (or her) video is strange. Perhaps one world is the author’s vision of peace, but the statement he makes with his choice of image could promote this end by means other than peaceful.

This is pretty old now, but in case you haven’t seen it Woody speaks about things in this direction in his poem “thoughts from within”.

Oh, so a motto to live by, that can be written on the hand?

Like so?
