Perhaps this speaks to my twisted sense of humour, but when I read the initial title I was thinking Chevy Chase getting creamed by an Impala.

I'm wondering what other injuries the guy in the '59 sustained. Sure he was killed instantly is bad but his legs were also crushed and probably many other severe injuries if he somehow managed to not smash his face into the steering wheel.

Thats all I can say. WOW!!

I always feel safe in those old cars cause it seems like they are so sturdy and solid compared to new ones. hmmm....

I had a friend wreck like that years ago. He was in a '65 Falcon and the opponent was in a 86' Toyota pickup. The opponent got a dislocated shoulder and some stitches. My friend barely survived and is still hurting.
