I second Noodle's John Cusack and Shani's Gary Sinise and add Stephen Colbert and Kevin Spacey.

Nancy Pelosi used to be hot, so although she's up there agewise, she's still kinda sexy.

Hmmm.... Inexplicably sexy....

Janeane Garofalo (shrill, but hot),
Chelsea Clinton (kinda hot-- and who could've guessed?!).
Giada DiLaurentiis (whom I have been known to call The Ridiculously Hot Chef),
Rachael Ray (something about that cheerleader/sorority gal thing: "Let's make some tacos and then screw ourselves silly! Woo hoo!").
Queen Latifah (mmmm...cleavagey goodness!)
Sarah Silverman (if she's that crude professionally, what would she sound like in bed? Inquiring minds want to know!)
Any female Israeli news anchor-- for some reason, Israelis like their news delivered by hot chicks! Maybe it takes the edge off...

Shia Labeouf. there is nothing that should make this weenie attractive. But he is somehow.
And the Mac guy, Justin something.
And Milo Ventimiglia, Zachary Quinto aka Sylar (something about the eyebrows) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh) on Heroes. Part of my male totty for the week. And I have no explanation for why these men would ever by on my Sexy List outside of the show.

Beautiful Girls was an excellent movie, but I feel uncomfortable watching it because Portman's 14 in that movie, and she already exudes some weird kind of sensuality.

I have always thought Ellen DeGeneres to be an underestimated beauty. Natural and the most gorgeous blue eyes, her features are flawless.
Brett and Jermaine are both hot, Brett in the typical pretty sense and Jermaine because he's so unusual looking.

My Dog, I was so in love with Ellen DeGeneres when she first hit the big time. I had no idea.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is one of my faves, I don't know if she qualifies for inexplicable.

Reese Witherspoon is a beauty, but I like her for her dark side. Kari from Mythbusters. Regina Spektor. Sonya Kitchell. Almost any chick that rocks. Kim Deal. Kim Gordon. Ari Up. Ani DiFranco. Smart Women. I seriously doubt anybody finds Shirley Manson unattractive. Tori Amos.

But Sonya Kitchell, wow.

I'd comepletely forgotten this thread of mine, fun to see it again!

Ed Norton, Shia Labeouf and Jermaine from Conchords are three mentioned that could be added to my inexplicable list.

As for a couple new ones for me: Bill the vampire (Stepen Moyer) from True Blood. Not my type at all, a little too chiseled in the face, but when the fang's come out, RAWR!! There's just something so primal in his eye's, can't be easy to pull off. MMM, hot vampire sex.

Bill Maher. He is extremely inexplicable to me, a scrawy, short guy with a big head, big nose and greasy hair. It can only be explained by his wit, sarcasm and the fact that I agree with him 80% of the time. Even so, I still don't get myself.

And you guys that said Flo from the Progressive commercials, I think that's funny, even though I don't think she's very good looking or sexy, I've noticed she definately has a look goin' on.

Im going to say Tina Fey for my answer. I know some of you may think that shes already hot for her looks, which is true. However, I find her hot for more reasons then that. She has a great sense of humor, shes a really nice person, and then on top of that, are her off the beat looks. She pulls off the librarian thing very well.

I was inexplicably attracted to someone in back in high school, to the point where I would compare every girls look and character with her, but tho I had 6 years to get something started with her, nothing materialized, atleast nothing more than a smile each time our path crosses...That was probably my third biggest mistake in my lifetime. Regardless, hey anyone know the gal ( she's a cop or something) from bones, the one with the square jaw? Well I think she's really hot, probably the hottest in TV rite now.

can we change the name of this thread to "guys that women find inexplicably/strangely sexy and a general list of easily explainable/not strange at all women who are obviously hot that guys would like to bang." the lack of creativity in this thread from the guys is horrifying.

if i have to name someone i find INEXPLICABLY/STRANGELY sexy i would have to say veronica pedrosa or perhaps, going back to my childhood, rainbow bright.
