iPhone Porn App Not Pulled By Apple, Just “Sold Out,” Says Developer


from what i heard on the radio, and i can't seem to find it online, is:

apple was gonna have porn on the iphone.

a bunch of parents were against it, saying it's apple's responsibility to not have porn.

someone said it was the parent's responsibility to monitor what their kids are doing.

the parents said they cannot be totally responsible for what their children do.

and now apple might have pulled it's porn app.



why are people afraid of pictures of naked people?

why do so many parents think it's everyone else's duty to prevent their children from acting in a way that they don't want?

is someone's moral beliefs a public company's responsibility to uphold?

You can always use Safari to browse the multitude of pornographic websites. A friend of mine offered me his iPhone so I could google something and when I opened the browser it was on Redtube. He'll likely never hear the end of it.

While I disagree with Apple's decision, I have to admit that it's their right to allow or disallow software to run on their service.

Yep, it's their right, in a free market, to sell whatever they want. I look at this from a cost benefit point of view. If there are enough parents to actually boycott the company then hey, pull it man!!

i don't use apple products, so i don't care if they have porn or not.

i just don't see why they had to pull an app that generated money (they are a business, a business' main job is to make money) because some people think it's a company's job to protect their (the people, not the company) children from seeing naked people.

Apple's target demographic has been college aged people for a while now. I highly doubt they care if a few pissed off parents boycott.

Besides, from what I've taken from this, it doesn't seem like Apple had anything to do with this, anyhow. It'll probably be back up as soon as they get a server that can handle the demand.

it's not about getting porn on my phone. besides, i don't need porn on my phone, and i dont want it. i have a computer for porn. the phone is for talking to people.

I'm quite optimistic about the prospects of efficient porn browser becoming available on iPhone. I think parental control has been implemented on 3.0 software, and that should appease the crowd.

About the App in question "Hottest Girls", it looks like it's not Apple censorship, but the author of App trying to control the load on the server. I guess in a few days this will become all clear.

I love my iPhone. And I have masturbated with it successfully, with 3G connection. I used some of sexier youtube clips mixed with some hardcore pics in Safari mobile.

Iphone Porn - Mobile Porn, Free Porno, & Sex Videos is good, although they changed the layout from 2 free, 2 premium clips on the front page and 6/page after that to 2 free, 2 premium on each page. I found a few others, I think Redtube has a mobile site that's limited to 3min clips, but that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. pornhub puts anything, including full-lenght, that's compatible on the mobile site,.
