Personally, no. But I can google it at anytime. That and your time zone is closer to mine than most here, I believe.

Welcome aboard.

Hi there. I went to Singapore once while I was in the US Air Force. Had a great time. I love Asia. I spent many years in The Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan.

Welcome, Petre. Always thought it'd be fun to visit Malaysia. Do you have delicious Soursop there?

It's my favorite fruit!

Before we went on to the leftover BBQ duck, he asked me if I had ever heard of Malaysian chili sauce. I said no, but told him I'd like to try some. Despite warning me that a proper Malaysian chili sauce could easily be the hottest in the world, I convinced him I should try some.

Man, he was right. That was the best damned chili sauce I've ever tried.

No, not in the AF any longer. I miss it sometimes though. But I'm in South Florida, not Baghdad.

i hate soursops...they're so sour. But i love other cool tropical foods found here though...durian, rambutan, mangosteens etc. And baraka, u should have tried the satay meal...the peanut chili is heaven with the spice-grilled meat. Anyhow...what jets u've piloted while in the af wyodiver?

petre, never flew planes. I worked on and flew with MC-130H Special Operations planes. Long story. But I miss it.

Welcome. Have you lived in Malaysia all your life or did you move there from someplace else?

My wife is from Malaysia. I went there last year. It was hot. Kuala Lumpur has a high concentration of attractive people.

I've been thinking of making my own satay. Any tips?

i was born here. I lived in penang, kl, johore and now, malacca( all these are states within malaysia).

Baraka, i'm not sure what tips to give u other than go ask a professional satay vendor cause i've myself never tried to make my own satay ( which would be quite pointless, seeing that there's a satay vendor just walks away from my home).

Anyhow, KL is a quite nice place, and the ladies there are quite liberally clothed, but the crime rate there is higher than most of the states in malaysia combined. So, u really need to take care of urself when ur in kl.
