I have been looking for a forum such as this one for a long time now. I have sort of been a frequent visitor of forums such as Totse and Bombshock (Gone now I believe). I found that Totse was a little bit of what I wanted with too much immature banter. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello all. A little about me. I am 21 years old and live in the mountains of NC. I was studying Criminal Justice before I got arrested twice for Marijuana DWIs as well as pocession in a little more than 4 months. Stupid you say? I would have to agree. I was one of those that said that I would never get caught. I am now bettering my life and no longer use Alchohol though I still use Marijuana. I have been reading alot about Philosophy and keep very up to date with current events and pretty much hunger for a decent place to discuss these things among others to increase my knowledge. Thanks for reading! If you got any questions about me or my problems or drug use or anything like that, please feel free to post them here.

Hello all, and thank you for the warm welcome. Yes, I have lived in Boone for most of my life and up until this break, I was a Appalachian State Mountaineer and will continue to be again when the summer semester comes around again. Though I have long thought about moving to many other locations such as the British Virgin Islands or maybe Boston, I cannot seem to pull myself away from this area. It is home, what can I say? It looks as if we may have a small storm rolling in tonight. That could be either good or bad.

Hey there. Really new here myself. I spent time at a couple other boards as well. So far this place is hands down better than any other, IMHO. I believe you'll find a place here to discuss any topic you choose, sans the immature banter. A lot of really smart, funny members here.
