Welcome! It's always nice to get more international perspective. Why not stop by this thread and post your flag?

what part of India are you from? I was there not too long ago staying in Gurgaon. My wife and I had a fabulous time there.

Thanks for the link, Secret. However, i cant post an attachment yet. I still need to read the fine print.

EDIT: Just came to know that my post count needs to be more than 15 to post links and attachments.

I was in Gurgaon too for a few years, about 6 years back, before it became a maddeningly crowded city. Am glad you had a great time. I really enjoyed the various eating joints there.

Now i am in Bangalore, in southern India. This city has various names... Garden City, Silicon valley of India, Pub Capital of India, and a few derogatory names as well, thanks to frustrating traffic, out of whack weather and an overburdened infrastructure.
Butttt... its my city now and i love it

Oh yeah, sorry about that. Just something we have to do to discourage the spammers

No hurry though, the thread isn't going away

Bangalore seems to be a pretty popular location in India. I know a number of people who have been there, though I've never gone.

That's ok. I am also not going anywhere

The weather here is surely a major factor in its popularity. Throughout the year, it is mostly pleasant. Neither too hot nor too cold. Till a few years back, it was a naturally air conditioned city. But reducing green cover and increased pollution has made it almost a thing of the past.
