Hey people, I know we have some central floridians around here, and I'm at "home" in Orlando from now until sometime in January. CaliLivChick and I have traded phone numbers and we were planning on getting drinks or dinner next week after christmas. I guess we can keep it informal, so if you might want to get in on it, why don't you PM me your phone number or let me know how to otherwise contact you and when you're available and I'll let you know when something's going on.

Yeah, any day works for me. All my family is in California, and don't have the boyfriend anymore, so not going to visit his family for the holidays... it's me, myself, and I. =) I get to go "home" (btw, we need to switch lives for awhile n0n... I want "home" to be home) from January 5-9, but any other day works for me! Analog, Carno, Shalafi, Uncle Phil, Mixed Media... what are you guys up to?

Like Uncle Phil, the week after New Year's is best for me...I'm going to be very busy all next week and then...otherwise occupied the weekend of New Year's Eve.

It'd be great to get together, though!

so I'm thinking the best day will be the 3rd of January.. I might be in Miami on the 2nd and I wouldn't want to interfere with Liv's packing time on the 4th.

Any suggestions for a place to go with good drinks and food? maybe in the downtown area?

All right, I haven't been to this place but the Fiddler's Green Irish Pub & Eatery seems to be liked and sounds pretty good, so I guess I'll plan on heading there.

Works for me... I may be going there right after work, because I don't even get home until 6, and that's if I don't work late, and with the whole going out of town thing, I may be working a little late, so pardon the work clothes... I'll try to remember to bring a change... party clothes!

I just re-entered the real world so I'm feeling a little out of sorts right now, but I think I can make it there. I know exactly where it is which is a plus.



In recent news.....

mixedmedia sincerely regrets she will not be able to make it to the get-together this evening.

I've got noone to watch my 7-year-old and the older daughters both have dates. I was away all weekend so I don't have the heart to make one of them change their plans. They're so good about helping me out. Maybe next time.
