Hey folks. The wife will be away on a course in August, so I was thinking we could do a TFP meet-up at my house. I was thinking on the scale of a board-game night, but if any out-of-towners expressed interest, we could make it into an overnight thing.

So who's into it? Who's around these days? Is this going to be a Baraka and Fresnelly sausage fest (and if you know us, and especially me... you know how unsausagy we really are).

Date(s) need to be somewhere between Sunday the 9th and Sunday the 16th of August.

Other ideas: night on the town, BBQ (meat allowed but I will not cook it), a debate (just joking), friendly soccer or frisbee, sing-a-long, ouija board, murder mystery, LARPing (also joking... but slightly less)

Magpie refuses to commit this far in advance. I'm willing to make an appearance, though.

Also, provided someone else has the appropriate tools I will volunteer for meat cooking duties.

I have tools. I'm eating meat these days.

I don't know about committing though. I'm planning on doing something life-changing at that time, like using my first ever passport. We're supposed to leave the week of August 10th. I might be able to do something Sunday the 9th. Dunno about a late-nighter though, so a BBQ would be grand. Or anything, really...during the day?

I have RISK and LOTR RISK, though aberkok will want to spring something German on y'all, I'm sure.

Failing that, I might be able to do the 15th or 16th all depending on when I get back from wherever in the world we're going.

hmmm... I dunno yet. I'd like to, but I was making plans to spend a little time in Boston early August. I'm not sure if I'll still be there by the 9th.

If I am back, I'll definitely think about it.
