Did anyone else pick this up this weekend? I just played it for a couple of hours and it's pretty sweet. I wish there was more variation for multiplayer game types, but honestly it doesn't seem to matter in the long run.

Yeah man, I picked it up too. I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought. Its not the usual dark gloomy feel you expect to get when you play a war game, its kinda funny and upbeat even during the intense parts. And it looks great too!

I'm really getting in to it, I loved the others in the series but have only ever played on PC, so wasn't sure how well it would translate. I'm really enjoying it though.

They are releasing the Conquest game-type as a free download after release.

I don't own an XBox 360 and have no desire to change that.

I did, however, stumble across an ad for this game that amused me. I thought I'd share:

Have been playing it for a few days now and i'm loving it. I wish there was a jet or two but i can live :P

The story was really fun, i gotta say i was entertained the whole way through. Have been waiting for this game for a while and it is better than expected. Chopper handles really well in this one.

The destructible environment is pretty damn fun. I love making my own door, and shooting down trees for cover. Really works and looks great.

Has anyone had any graphic glitches? I was playing last night and it seemed that everything had these loooong objects shooting off of it. The helicopter, my characters, etc. Each object usually has about 3 or 4 things coming off of it and it shoots right into the ground into what seems like a focal point for all of these things to intersect at. Its kinda hard to describe lol. I noticed it started really happening a lot on the mission to refuel the chopper.

See if you have this problem after 30 minutes or so of playing and/or if it happens on other graphically intense games (GTA IV for example). I had that problem with my 360, it was it's death knell. For me it meant my GPU was becoming unsoldered due to heat. Hope that's not the case for you.

Hmm... it is possible. That was the longest I had been playing that game yet, although I've played GTA for a while with no problems yet, just not recently. I'll try it again tomorrow and see!

I can't believe this thread isn't more lively... I figured a LOT of people were playing. Maybe the TFPers who are playing don't have time to post

I picked this up for the PS3 the other day and I'm really enjoying it. My only real beef so far is that the syringe that restores health makes the game a little too easy, as does the mortar strike weapon. I've stopped using the latter altogether and I'm enjoying the game a little more because of it.

I've seen some ads for the game, but haven't looked into it much. I'm not an online multiplayer guy, as I suck at all video games, but I have a good time playing single player stuff. I'm thankfully patient.

Is the single player campaign long, or is this a mostly multiplayer game?

Borgs, in MP? Those things make the game TOLERABLE. Assault is a pretty weak class.

No xeph, I was talking about the SP. I actually haven't even tried the MP yet. How does it compare to COD4's MP?

Played the demo on PS3... I was pleasantly surprised, it's a great looking game and plays well. I'm just gonna stick with BF2 and BF2142 on PC though.
