Meh... I'm getting it for the 360. The DS has fallen out of favor with me. Regardless, I think Civ:Rev is going to be awesome!

Depends on how much it sticks to the Civilization formula. I love the DS's portability (I play at work a lot), but after playing SimCity DS, I'm not sure if I want to play another DS port of something that was originally a PC game. SimCity DS was good, but it was basically a port of Simcity 3000 with a lot of stuff taken out. It also had MASSIVE slowdown once your city starts to get huge. If Civ:Rev can provide a full experience on the DS, I'll definitely pick it up.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 has been sucking up all of my free time lately... what an amazing game. |

Civ:Rev isn't a PC game at all. It was built from the ground up to be a console game, so that shouldn't be a worry for you. It's in my Gamefly queue now. I suppose I'll probably play it a year from now, lol.

You know, I was just coming in here to read the thread, but as soon as I clicked on the link, a Civilization: Revolution commercial came on TV.

I have it, but I'm not at all familiar with this genre of games, so I haven't played it much. My wife loves it though.

inBOIL, I'm happily surprised by the game. It flows very well, the controls for the 360 are delightful, and graphics are nice but different. But the FELL of Civ... the essence of Sid was captured nicely!
