Who is your favorite Super Mario character? (1.1) - Tilted Forum Project - TFP - Sexuality, Philosophy and Political Discussion

I'm wanting to get a good feel for how Nintendo's fanbases on the internet work, so I plan to run a series of polls here assuming you guys don't revolt against me...so, please, don't revolt!

I think starting with the flagship-series for Nintendo is a good beginning for this...who is your favorite Super Mario character? Do note that I'm including some characters that have done spin-offs but are generally in the Super Mario universe, so to speak. I'm also asking for your favorite in general, not just in the SM-universe. Don't be afraid to defend your vote either!

I'll remake this topic with the top two-five in the poll unless the winners are REALLY clear-cut.

I've always been a Luigi fan. I always used to pick Luigi when playing Mario Kart.

Luigi, for the same reasons as will, only supplanting Mario Kart for Mario Tennis. (He has minimal traction in both games.)

I also have a close affinity for Ludwig von Koopa, one of the seven offspring of the Koopa King Bowser, of SMW/3 fame.

From that list, I'd choose Bowser. Always getting himself into some trouble trying to kidnap that damn princess all the time.

If I were to choose ANY character from the Mario games though, I'd definitely have to go with the Koopa Troopa's. Always been a fan of those guys.

Though I will agree you're missing a lot of characters that might've made me stop to think if I'd seen them up there too.

Like Geno from SM RPG, you couldn't pronounce his name, how cool is that? lol

Luigi always comes out on top though.

Besides, who can resist his Italian ice? ;D

I definitely main Peach in Smash Bros. but Luigi is just way to sick nasty to not be my actual favorite.

Ludwig enjoys designing some really tough machines, but rarely seems to build any. His hair is completely blue and he wears a green shell. Despite Ludwig being very smart, his nickname is Kooky. Where these names came from I will never know � maybe it's due to his crazy looking hair. Ludwig is also a bit of a gentleman, he enjoys listening to a bit of opera in his spare time, as geniuses (albeit sometimes evil ones) often do!
