I can't even being to tell you how excited I am for this one, folks. The atmosphere, art direction, music, everything about this game has me completely intrigued. Definitely a must buy for launch day. I've spoken to friends of mine that have actually played it first hand at a gaming convention, and they have nothing but good things to say about it. Can't wait!

I must admit I'm looking forward to it as well. It's looking forward to the next trend in gaming: nice graphics are easy to do now; engaging gameplay takes innovation and ingenuity.
This looks promising.

I dunno.. It looks ok I guess, are the places you need to jump and stuff always colored red? seems like you're not really exploring when everything you need to do is highlighted in red.

No, the red is there only for people who would like to take the easiest way. There are numerous different ways you can get around obstacles. Going over them, under them, around, through, etc. Lots of different possibilities.

This might be the first game I'll play to give me motion sickness. It's going to be awesome.

I've read that they've announced there's going to a be a series a games....
I don't know. It looks good and might be a lot of fun. One of the coolest things about Assassin's Creed was the free-running stuff, so a whole game centered around that....could be very interesting.

The demo is now on PSN and Xbox Live.
I had mixed feelings going into the demo. The music for the trailer is awesome and I like the art direction. That said, I wasn't sure if the game would actually be fun or if it would be too disorienting to enjoy.
After the demo I'm definitely getting the game though as a rental. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I'm getting the impression this is going to be like Portal: short but a memorable and wonderful experience. The demo was just long enough to get you hooked and want a bit more. Still I keep wondering if there will be more re-playability besides time trials. With so many AA and AAA titles packed into this Christmas lead-in I'm wondering if this will get lost in the shuffle. So if anyone wants to donate to Prophecy's game fund so I can bump up some of these rentals to purchases, feel free.

I'll be Gameflying this, but I enjoyed the demo. I'll decide for sure if it's worth a purchase after I play the full release. I didn't get get motion sickness either.

Demo was pretty good. It was slightly boring until you actually had to run from people - then it got interesting. I hope it is good. Or do I? TOO MANY GOOD GAMES RECENTLY!!!!!!

Ok, I just deleted the demo. I had played it over 20 times. I need to not over do it or i'll get sick of it too fast. Plus, the demo was too short. I hope the rest of the game has a bit more interaction with the environment instead of just strait lines.

I was playing LittleBigPlanet last night, and found a user created map named Mirrors Edge. It was as similar to the game as you can be considering that the games are completely different genres.

coming out tomorrow! who's picking up this title? I would wait for my PC version but with the latest talks of DRM on every fucking games, I'd rather not wait and be disappointed.
plus, my gf seems to like this title as well. i can see her playing through the main campaign atleast once.

I'm surprised, it seems to be getting a lot of mainstream TV commercial air time. Some were ok, others were disappointing in that it just used actual free runners in a chase, no actual game footage, so I don't think it gave a proper understanding of what the game is about.

After my own checking around no one has it locally. Hence, I'm now convinced today is/was the ship date and tomorrow is the release date.

I'm not sure how much I'd like to play this one myself, but I'd certainly like to see it played; it's likely one of my roommates will rent it

I heard the same thing. A friend of mine got it yesterday and beat it last night. I planned to get it, but I'm not going to spend the money for less than a day of enjoyment.

I like this game....a lot.
It's short, yes, but the replay value is actually pretty good. Speed runs, time trials, bag hunts, etc., which I initially thought were a pretty stupid idea, have turned into a big selling point as far as I'm concerned. I like banging through levels finding the perfect path, pulling off some cool shit and finding new ways to knock out bad guys. The first person stuff is actually pretty neat. It can get a bit disorienting, especially when you try to pull off the really advanced stuff, but even then it's not that bad.
