I am a dumbass. I've been driving around with the bare minimum of car insurance for 20 years. I was one accident away from going bankrupt and losing my house, and I didn't even know it.

When I became aware of just how little insurance I had, I said to my insurance company, "What if I wanted... I dunno... A MILLION DOLLARS of insurance? What would that cost?"

The answer - an increase of about ten bucks per month.

I could not agree fast enough.

Don't be a dumbass like me. Check to see if you have enough coverage. If you slap your sensible Accord into somebody's Hummer and blow it all to shit, and the driver has to go to the hospital, your $20,000 of insurance ain't going to cover it.

I love you Clavus. No, seriously, were it legal, we both swung that way and I could ditch the wife, I'd make you the happiest man in Norcal.

I've been saying this for years. You should always buy as much liability insurance as you can afford. It isn't about what you think it's worth, it's about how much it's going to cost to reattach the leg of that Hummer driver.
