Date ideas?
I could use a hand planning a date for tomorrow. I haven't done much dating recently and I'm pretty much drawing a total blank. Here are the details :
-The girl is 20 so no booze or establishments that require ID. -Afternoon date -Supposed to rain all day -We'll be in or around Pittsburgh -When asked what she might want to do she replied something "different and fun". So that probably rules out the usual stuff like museums, movies, bowling, etc. Any thoughts? All help is appreciated. |

Or try to find someplace good to eat that is different from a chain restaurant. There should be some good local places that not everybody knows about. For something completely differernt (NSFW): PornShopFinder.com Strip Club List:: Club Erotica Or you could just pull into the parking lot and make it a joke if you happen to drive past someplace like this. That's the advice you get when you ask the night before from people with little to no dating experience. |

If she is into fitness you could take her to the OCB Natural Steel Championships at West Allegheny High School.
I would like minature golf, but that's out if it rains. If it doesn't rain take her to Mellon Park to the Annual Fair in the Park. Lowe's has workshops on Saturdays. I've always wanted to do something like that. A karate class? I did that on a date one time and had a blast. You can't go wrong with a fun restaurant.

I could give you a list as long as your arm of things to do, but I won't. Depending on you and the girl in question a good date could be rock climbing, a game of chess and a picnic or a rousing session of Dungeons and Dragons. As I don't know either of you, suggesting date ideas is a bit difficult.
Pick something that you will both enjoy and that requires (or at least can accommodate) two or more people. That's all there is two it. The important part is spending time together. The venue is secondary.

I don't have any great ideas, but good luck. I just moved to Pittsburgh, so hopefully you can let us know how it went and maybe give me some ideas for the future!
