Not as tight as Monaco, but not much better. Monaco has a 'tunnel' this track has a bridge. Damn!
A real lap to the Valencia Street Circuit - Valencia Street Circuit

Probably not to many places to pass. I hope the FIA and plenty of cranes at the track to remove broken monocoques from the course. Runoffs, shmunoffs. I actually like these concrete canyon races. They really test the skill levels of the racers.

practice today .......

Reading too much into Friday practice times can be a mistake, but there is no denying that the Ferrari package seems to be the one to have following the opening day of practice around the streets of Valencia.

Kimi Raikkonen saved his best lap until the final seconds of the session, moving from fourth fastest to the top of the timesheets with a best lap of 1:39.477s. The Finn opted to remain on the harder primary tyre, underlining the pace of the F2008 package.

With less than two seconds covering the entire field of 20 cars, it was of no surprise to see some opt for a simulated qualifying lap at the end of the 90-minute session, vaulting up the timesheets from mid-field obscurity to the sharp end of the grid.

Looks like Button put in a quick lap too. Kind of surprising since they're usually pretty far off pace.

The track is not nearly as narrow as I thought it would be. There are some decent spots to pass. This one could be quite good. Or at least I hope.

From what I have read, there are opportunities for overtaking. It's a really fast course too. I think it's going to be pretty exciting.

Yeah I don't know what's wrong with Kimi lately. This race was more of his bad luck, but he still isn't doing that well.
