A 13-year old named Jeff Gordon had just come across the country to Florida with his father to race this sprint car. Jeff says he has never been more terrified in his life, but it took him only two nights to catch on.

Starting that stuff young, especially when you have some talent like JG, seems to pay off. I wonder if he did go karts before that? I'm not a die-hard NASCAR fan, but I still like any kind of motor racing and Jeff Gordon is one of the best around in NASCAR now...plus I love sprint cars. I was "internet shopping" earlier today looking at some old restored sprint cars. Now I'm internet shopping to find $70,000 cheap.
