I liked their earlier ones, and the snippets I've heard on the radio have been good, so I'm hoping that when I get round to finding a copy I'll like it.

I still need to give this proper listening time but anything I have heard I have liked. Has it been worth the 10 year wait however?

I saw them live in Detroit back in '99, they are fucking amazing! I, too, am excited about their new album but I haven't listened to any tracks yet. I need to start scoping it out! It's been a looonnng wait.

Teehee. I had it weeks ago; had to download it after reading the early review in the NYTimes.

Amazing. I'm so glad for new material from Portishead.

I tried really hard to like this album but just can't get past the fact that I don't like Beth's voice.

I think this album was well worth the 10 year wait since the last one. It has everything I like about the band, but slightly updated. A little more guitar would have been nice though.

I picked up the 2x12" last weekend and have so far only played half of the album. Honestly, it sounds a little bit more depressio than what I remember of the first two albums.

Don't get me wrong tho, it's still awesome.

I'm apologize to all of the haters, but "The Rip" is one of the most perfect pieces of music ever made...
