Brandon Lee

I feel that something weird is going out with this.

Either Brandon Lee is a (dead) actor ready for death -ALTERNATIVELY; He is an actor who was either set up for death OR it's all just a coincidence.

In any case, he is dead now.

What is the deal with Brandon Lee?

I didn't say he wasn't dead. He might be dead.

I meant that something really strange happened -loading guns with bullets on a set. It's just too weird.

It was Brandon's big break as far as movies go. He would have been another Brad Pitt or [insert another famous actors name here].

Perhaps it was the "family curse" that killed him.

it was an accident, the gun that shot lee was not loaded with live rounds, it was loaded with blanks. One of the blanks was built improperly and a piece of it fired out and struck lee. It was just an accident.

On another note, if you spent a little more time wording your posts you will be easier to understand. It's almost like English isn't your first language.

I can't honestly say that I know who Brandon Lee is. So I cannot speculate if he is indeed dead or not, but the fact remains that he was never alive to begin with, if only because no one knows who he is.

My old roommate from my Hollywood days was an AD on The Crow. He wasn't named in the lawsuit by the Lee family because he was supervising the rigging of the next set when the accident occured. He went to the fatal set immediately after the shooting, and I can assure you that Brandon Lee is dead. He also knew the ordinance guys that dealt with the guns throughout the filming, and I can asure you there was no conspiracy. As to a curse? I think this goes into the "tragic" column of the "shit happens" archive.

Brandon Lee is the son of Bruce Lee and was an up and coming action star when he was accidentally killed on the set of "The Crow". During the filming, a prop bullet that is supposed to look like a real bullet (but with no gunpowder) fell apart in a gun leaving the slug in the barrel, when blanks were inserted in the gun and fired at Lee, the explosion from the blank propelled the bullet out of the barrel and into Lee's stomach.

This might be a little off topic but how up and coming was Lee before he died anyway? Rapid Fire was a decent movie but it made more noise as a 2 am HBO movie than it did in the box office and I dont remember the Crow making much noise even with the hype of the death...

The Crow has at least a cult following, if not mainstream popularity.

Well there are two things to consider:
1) Brandon Lee was actually a pretty damn good actor and a good looking chap. Had he the opportunity, following The Crow, it's likely that he would have made additional Crow movies or even moved on to something more mainstream.
2) Everyone loves Bruce Lee, and we were all left hungry for more when he tragically died. I never had the opportunity to meet Brandon Lee, but many people said that he had his father's charisma and drive, and as such he could have risen in his father's wake. Even with a fraction of the skill of his father, he could have continued the tradition on making mainstream martial arts movies and could have been bigger than Van Dame in the early to mid 90s. Of all the people out there, I know he would have made the best Neo in the Matrix.
