I am loving it.
Mass transit to a game vs. trying t o get to and from the Meadowlands. Its a no-brainer for me.

I think its great. I personally go to more Wizards and Caps games now cuz I can just jump right on and off of Metro and not have to deal with driving on the Capital beltway. Of course the Caps and the Wizards both suck so legendarily that I will only go when given the free ducat but that is another matter.

Speaking of the Nets, isn't amazing how a guy can get arrested for smacking his wife and still be the "golden child" in the eyes of the NBA? Speaking of course about Jason Kidd. Wow..what a great publiscist and agent he must have.

Well, considering he apologized for it, and has done nothing else since to make it seem like a chronic problem, I think time has healed that.

I agree with Bill Lambier, that the Nets coming to New York is crazy. They will only play 2nd fiddle to the Knicks, even though they have a better team. The only thing that can come out of the is a cross city rivalry.

They ALREADY play second-fiddle to the Knicks where they are, so it doesn't matter.

Brooklyn is probably better for them anyways, because of accessability and civic pride.

I think that the hundreds of families that will be displaced will have a problem with this. I think that Brooklyn has a lot to offer as a great neighborhood. It will be a shame to see it become so commercialized as the plan seems to be.

I've been a Nets fan since the early 90s, and to be honest, I couldn't care less where they play. Why? Have you seen the price of tickets these days? It's just too expensive to go to the games. I live 20 minutes from Madison Square Garden, yet have never gone to a Knicks game due to the high costs. I can't afford to go to Nets games anymore either, since they're "good" now. I remember the days where I'd go with my mom, dad and brother to Bredan Byrnes Arena for $100, AND they'd let us bring in our subs that we bought at the Jersey Mike's. Those days are long gone. Now you have to pay gauge ticket prices and either pay gauge food prices or starve.
