lakers spurs game 5 what a shot!!!

unbelievable.

first TD's shot, then Fish's miracle let me pull a rabbit out my ass shot.

so much for homecourt advantage. In LA, the clock would've expired during the pass hahaha

quite a game; glad I stayed a bit late at work to watch it. Those last two quarters made it worth watching regardless of who won.

My mom walked in to watch the final 5 seconds with me... I was crouched on the ground while she sat on my bed. She realized it was a tense moment, so she didn't say a word.

When Duncan's shot went in, I screamed out, "WHAT IN THE FUCKIN' HELL!!" as my mom just gave a little yelp of disappointed surprise.

I mourned for a few seconds, on the floor, on my knees, my head and arms slouched over the foot of my bed. I swiped a piece of cheese from my mom's plate in a fit of grumpiness and nibbled on it as I nervously watched the time out.

The inbounds play took 2 more timeouts to finally develop... an eternity for a disappointed lifetime Laker fan. Fisher caught the pass from GP, put it up, and I knew it was going in... from the arc.. everything... and i knew it was good. I jumped up and almost hit my ceiling fan. I didn't even hear my mom as I yelled out. "OHH YEAH!!!!!!"

My sister.. my dad... my sister's dog.. all came running into my room as I hopped up and down, the adrenaline pulsing through me, not letting me stand still.

I think I just saw the most incredible finish to a game ever.

I love it! All the critics were saying Spurs in 4 or 5 games. HA!

I'm not a fan of either the Lakers or Spurs and both shots still had me on the edge of my seat. Crazy ending to a great game and the series isn't even over yet. I can't wait till the next game.

The end of that game sure was an emotional rollercoaster. I'm really happy that Fisher was the one to hit that shot, he deserves alot more recognition than he gets in my opinion.

God damn. I was so happy when Duncan's shot went in.

Then I experienced the lowest emotional point of the my week so far. I don't even want to talk about it, it hurt so much.

Most disgraceful basketball game I have ever seen. Fisher should go to the Olympics... on the DIVING TEAM.

But the buzzer beater was spectacular, I'll give him that.

I hate the lakers. They should just go away and die. Damn them all. Good game nonetheless.

definitely a dramatic finish... but, the Spurs got hosed by the timekeeper.

it is impossible to catch the ball, turn & shoot... in 0.4 seconds!

I'm curious why you think this game was disgraceful.

Competitive
Exciting
Dramatic
Disappointing
Exhilirating

I understand those...I'm puzzled about disgraceful.

I can't remember 2 last second off balanced shots like that. Everyone has their favorite buzzer beater. Duncan falling down over Shaq would have been enough to qualify as a fantastic finish, but add in Fisher (of all people!!!!) and it was a classic end to an up and down game.

It will be interesting to see what kind of energy both teams have for Game 6.

It was an amazing game. Fisher has sacrificed alot this year with Payton coming in, so it was great to see him hit that shot.

It's interesting that almost everyone is counting the Spurs out now. Sure, it was a devastating loss(to put it mildly), but its still only a 3-2 series lead for LA and if the Spurs follow Duncan's lead they should be more than ready for Game 6.

The ending was definately one of the best I've ever seen, not number one, but high enough. The game itself, meh. At least it was close.

The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!"

Hearing the news of the shot from my manager certainly made the end of the work day much better.

I believe that shot has just changed this series. I was thinking that the Spurs would win and be up 3-2 with another game in San Antonio so the Lakers chances were slim to none. Now they may not even make it back to Texas-what a swing in emotions. Too bad Kobe doesn't have a court date on Saturday!

very exciting finish but fortunately no reason why the Spurs can not finish this series properly with a victory still.
and I am definitely not a 'lakers hater', I just like San Antanio that much more out of the two options. Portland is the only team that I actually make a serious effort to follow in the regular season and playoffs.

Absolutely. Don't they say that the minimum time for a catch and release alone is .3?

Umm.. there 'should' have been 0.8 on the clock for the Lakers anyways.. seen pictures to prove it. So if you wanna complain about clock management, I DO NOT wanna hear it.

Yeah, people don't seem to concerned about time running off the clock after Duncans shot went in.
