Having to "re" Log-in to post

I have only recently (about Feb) become somewhat active again. Ever since I have started posting again, I compose a post (or generate a thread) and when I hit "submit", I'm taken to a Log-in screen. I am already logged-in when this happens and it's getting quite tiresome. I don't recall this ever happening in the past.

It's just a few keystrokes and a page load but it's irritating enough to me that I just don't bother with a smallish response to threads I would otherwise be contributing to.

I'm hitting submit and *sigh* I expect to have to sign in again.

Appreciate any answer and solution.

Ali

Edited to add that it did indeed happen again when I hit "submit". The "You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page" page came up and I had to log-in for my post to be applied.

If you don't change pages within 15 minutes, you get timed out for inactivity. If I know I'm going to be sitting on a page for a while for a post, I open the "Currently Active Members" page (also known as the "Who's Online" page, which automatically updates once per minute, keeping you active for as long as you need.

Thanks guys, I will try both of those suggestions. I do have a habit of getting up and doing things while composing so timing out is probably the culprit.

I had no idea this forum could be so secure...
