I haven't been able to log onto chat for two days now.

Anyone else having this problems?

I'm checking into why it's a problem. the chatroom has people in it, just not able to connect via the mibbit client.

I always wonder why the chatroom always list like 25 people are there yet most are completely silent? Always seems like the same 20 or so folks are listed as "in chat." But they don't actually seem to be there. Why is that?

because we're just talking about you and then you walk in and youknow.. we have to suddenly go silent.

actually because some of us log onto the channel and forget we are there. a few of us also log the chats so that we can catch people being morons and harassing other members.

Yeah, my computer is always connected to chat, whether I'm there or not. This way, I can jump into a conversation whenever I want

he's just paranoid so he wants to make sure he can see if you're talking about him or not...

I'm having a problem logging onto chat.

I click the connect button and then it just sits there forever chugging away in the "connecting..." screen.

I suppose it's some kind of browser security setting or something. I'm using firefox on an XP system.

Don't forget that you can get IRC clients that aren't in your browser. In case there's a chat emergency and Mibbit is acting up. I've been known to use Colloquy.

just to make sure, please delete your cached items. there was a problem with one of the nodes irc.shadowfire.org and i had to make a change.

Ok now I'm trying to get into chat. It lets me in, I can see all the people in chat but the dialog box is blank, no scroll down bar, no convo, nothin. I tried both front page chat and the chat page. me = sad!
