How old is this forum?

Is there a sort of time period allotting how many threads are visible to members? It doesn't seem like all threads are visible. The numbers don't appear to add up.

Ok I answered this bit on my own lol. It's all in the settings.

But I'd still like to know how old the forum is plzty!

Well, all that you see goes back to the last crash in 2003. We have roughly 2.5M threads since then. If you take it back to the very beginning, I think it was '98 or '99, but it was centered around a video game clan and the stuff they were interested in.

You might want to check out the Hall of Fame for some very interesting stuff.

i'd also like to add that the more you contribute, the more access you get to this site.

this place works on a tiered system, so the more valuable a member you become, the more 'goodies' that you get access to.
