taking video clips from DVDs
i want to take a short clip of video from a DVD for a presentation....
whats the best way get like 10 seconds of a dvd onto my computer as a mpg or avi... i'm going to import the clip into powerpoint.... would something like camtasia work? or what should i try?

http://www.doom9.org/ has all the instructions to copy a dvd to another format, find a format you like and then crop that... also you may need permision to use the clip.
