Given the huge leaps we've been making in computing, I have a feeling that the robot/android industry will go crazy IF they can find practical applications for what they're making. This stuff is getting pretty realistic.

can anyone say "war machine" ?

can anyone say "security through obscurity" ?

yes, I know, I'm failing to see the practical "good" benefits of androids, and seeing all the evil uses that people could come up with.

but this stuff is freaky. Lets just make walking bombs while we're at it.

yeah cuz we all want to embed technology, which tends to have a life span of 2 years or less, into our bodies which has a life span far beyond that.

I mean, heck, I guess having a built in MP3 player would be kinda neat and all, but.... hehehe.

ya i feel the same way..of course people will use it for good, but absolutely no doubt some one will buy it and use it for evil. its innevitable.. unless its EXTREMELY protects that by law or something....

When has the law stopped people from abusing technology?

Anyway, this is really cool, if not a little scary. The Second Renaissance is not too far off.
