While Intel seems to be the way to go when it comes to dual core processors - there's so much more to consider when choosing a motherboard. How many drives are you going to run and how will they be connected? Sata or pata hard drives? How many graphics cards will you have installed?....

What are you going to use the computer for?

(also, is that an Immortal Technique quote in your signature)

Cant really suggest a exact motherboard but whatever you do dont skimp on what brand you get. my personal fav lately is asus but i have had good luck with gigabytes in the past as well. just need to find one with what you want on it.

nevermind on that don't feel like upgrading to ddr2 memory, thats too much for me at this point, so i think im going back to AMD now, their duel cores are still fast enough for what i need. so what kinda MoBo should i get for an AMD duel core processor

Both kinda cheap, no-name brands IMO. Motherboard isn't someplace you want to go cheap. I'd get an Asus, Abit, or Gigabyte with Asus being my personal favorite.

Yikes, I would suggest going Asus or Gigabyte. Dont fool around with those no-name brands.
