Symantec vs Photobucket

My computer is my work computer, and automatically runs Symantec Antivirus, full version 10.1.0.394.

Lately (past two weeks), when I try to log into Photobucket, it locks up. When I checked the Photobucket FAQs, this is what I found:

Quote:
Another login issue that you may be experiencing is a blank page with a '0' in the corner. We have determined that this issue is most likely due to a particular setting in Norton or a combination of Norton and another variable on your computer since disabling it resolves the issue for many users. Although disabling your Symantec product might alleviate the problem, we understand the importance of securing your computer, and recommend that you leave Norton enabled at all times.

We, unfortunately, do not have a solution to this, nor can we recreate the issue in order to isolate what may be causing it. I would strongly suggest contacting Symantec Support to see if they may be able to further assist you with this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience that it may be causing you.
That's exactly my problem - the little '0' in the top left corner. In the past whenever I got that, all I had to do was hit refresh or go forward or backward into Photobucket and I would be ok. Now, it only takes me back into the main login page and won't recognize that I'm already logged in.

Since I'm not the administrator of this computer, I have no access to Symantec tech support.

Am I fucked? Should I start looking for another photo-hosting site? Or is there another way, Obi-Wan.....

Guessing here, but the problem could also be due to domain security settings that you don't have access to.

Do you have the option of trying another browser like FireFox? If you aren't allowed to install software try running a portable version that doesn't need to be installed.
